ARIA Awards (1998), the guys managed to pick up Highest
Selling Australian Album and the 1998 Outstanding
Achievement Award for sales in excess of 8 million
copies.

* Their debut album, Savage Garden, has achieved over 2
million sales worldwide - Australia alone has notched up
sales awards of over 9 times platinum. The story
continues in Canada, (3 times platinum) America
(quadruple platinum) and a top 10 hit throughout most of
Europe.
* Their debut album which was released on 24th March 1997
debuted at number one on the national ARIA chart (where
it spent 19 weeks - 16 of those consecutively). In total,
it has spent 36 weeks in the national Top 5. To date the
album has sold over 9 times platinum (670,000) in
Australia alone.
* Their debut single I Want You was commercially released
in Australia in June 1996. It went platinum and became
the biggest selling Australian single for 1996, peaking
at number 3 on the national AMR charts and earning them
an ARIA nomination for Best Debut Single in 1996.
* I Want You debuted at number 31 on the Billboard charts
(the highest chart entry ever for a debut single from an
Australian artist). It scaled the charts to reach the
number 4 position, and also became a Number 1 hit in
countries as diverse as Canada, Turkey and Israel.
* Their second release To The Moon & Back quickly
became a number one single in Australia and has to date
sold in excess of 135,000 copies domestically.
* Their second single release To The Moon & Back was
a Top 30 hit in America and is still charting and doing
incredibly well all over Europe - going Top 10 and Top 20
in most countries.
* Their third single release, and by far their biggest
hit to date, Truly Madly Deeply scaled the Australian
charts to reach the number one spot where it stayed for
eight weeks (concurrently with their debut album). Truly
Madly Deeply has sold in excess of 160,000 copies in
Australia.
* Truly Madly Deeply, after having received staggering
radio airplay in America, debuted at number 25 on the
Billboard charts on 27th November 1997. Soon this hit
song had hit number 1 on the Billboard Charts, knocking
Elton John's Candle in the Wind off the top spot.
* Break Me Shake Me (released 16th June 1997, their
fourth single release in Australia, reached number seven
on the ARIA charts. It has sold 48,000 copies to date.
* Universe, released on 20th October 1997, is the current
Australian single. It reached number 32 on the ARIA
charts and has sold 16,500 copies to date.
