| History: He
is the youngest of three children. He has an older
brother and sister. He started showing signs of wanting
to be a performer at the age of five. He used to
constantly sing about the house (and was often told to be
quiet!). He was in school musicals throughout high
school. When he graduated he went to university to study
Drama, Journalism, and eventually Education. He met
Daniel and when offered a recording contract he had only
one semester remaining of his Bachelor of Education. He
gave it up to be in Savage Garden. Favorite Food: Darren WAS vegetarian, but not long ago, he started eating meet. He loves Thai and Italian food. Although he is usually very healthy, he loves Baskin Robins ice-cream (peanut butter and chocolate), Vanilla Chuppa Chups, Dr Pepper and Cherry Coke Favorite Movie: Star Wars - The Empire Strikes Back is his favorite of the three (He is a HUGE fan of the Star Wars Trilogy). He also loves ET, The Goonies, Aladdin, Raiders of the Lost Ark and Interview with the Vampire. Favorite Things: His favorite possessions are his Star Wars figures and his computer. Favorite Television Shows: Mad About You, Seinfeld, Friends, Ellen and The David Letterman Show. Favorite Color: Dusky Blue.....although he almost always wears black. Favorite Concert: U2 Zooropa 1993 Sydney Football Stadium. Favorite Place To Visit: New York City Favorite Thing To Do: Hang out on the Internet.....being involved in on-line chats with people all over the world. Sitting inside on a rainy day watching movies. Eating popcorn in a dark cinema while watching a great film. Favorite Book: Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card and ANYTHING from Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles. Favorite Clothes: Black pants with long sleeve button up shirts. Doctor Martin boots. Paisley anything....velvet....Jean Paul Gaultier. Worst Habit: Getting too emotional. How Long Does He Spend In Front Of The Mirror Each Morning?: "OOhh! Hours and hours" What’s More Important To Him: Fun, Love or Money?: Love Biggest Regret: Not paying attention in gym classes because he’s totally uncoordinated. Have You Ever Wanted To Be Anything Other Than A Musician?: "Yes. I always wanted to be a special effects person for the Star Wars films or a writer maybe. I saw the movie ‘Romaincing The Stone’ and loved the scene where Kathleen Turner had her typewriter and was finishing her novel in front of the fireplace. Seemed like a real cozy job! I started many epics that never got finished as a child." |
